In accordance with the philosophy above, MÁV INFORMATIKA Kft. provides outsourcing services in four main areas.
Data centre services
SLA and TCO - two key concepts for outsourcing: Service Level Agreements and Total Cost of Ownership. We use these as benchmarks for optimising our infrastructure services and application. We have all necessary technical resources, qualified staff and close monitoring capacity required to do so. We specialise particularly in launching, running and maintaining large-scale ERP systems.
The servers, data storage and data back-up systems at our highly reliable and secured data centre all represent state-of-the-art technology. Our data transfer network connects to the Internet or the MÁV Zrt. data network with 2 x 100 Mbit/s broadband and redundant paths.
Desktop services
A service package for the entire life cycle of computer terminals covers mass installation (roll-out) and 3 - 4 years of operation and monitoring, as well as withdrawing the terminals from service (roll-back). It is accessible from all over the country, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day and financing plans are available.
Network services
In addition to running conventional data network systems, i.e. local (LAN) and remote (WAN) networks, we have comprehensive experience running and managing related applications based directly on network infrastructure, such as:
- e-mail systems
- work group applications and document handling
- web-based communication applications (web pages, portals)
- VOIP systems
System and service monitoring
We can oversee complex, interdependent infrastructural components (whether these be networks, servers or desktop tools), using a single monitoring system. This all combines to form a system which is proactive, in as much as it gives advance indication of possible errors. The warning system provides operators and managers with notification of operational or security-related events appropriate to the scope of their role. Regular internal and external audits ensure that system operators are able to carry out both internal technical and IT-related tasks in a way which is secure and transparent for the client. Additionally, the client who has ordered the service receives a regular report on quality and quantity indicators.
